Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) uses evidence-based training to increase mental health literacy and teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

Learn how to support others who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

The course supports people to:

  • Recognise the symptoms of mental ill health

  • Provide initial help

  • Guide the person towards appropriate professional help

  • Be mindful of their own wellbeing

  • Provide the foundations for being a workplace champion

This online course is delivered in four half-day sessions.  Blended learning combines instructor-led sessions using Zoom-style video classes with self-led learning.  Participants receive a workbook, 270 page manual and access to an online learning platform. Our participants love this way of learning
